A photographer drawn to light—sunlight slipping across stone walls, golden hours in open fields, and the quiet glow of city windows just before dusk.

Rooted in the softness of the countryside and inspired by the structure and style of the city, my work lives at the intersection of emotion and elegance. I’m here to document not just what you see, but what you feel—those fleeting, honest moments that often go unnoticed until they’re framed.

Welcome, I’m Rachel

My chosen medium, watercolor paints, is both permanent and unpredictable, much like life itself. The paintings are vivid and vibrant, and the movement and colors reflect hope: we can experience hope in dark places. In applying gold leafing in intentional places, I hope that a viewer connects the shine with the presence of God amidst those moments of fluidity.

By combining the layers of paint, gold leaf, and text found in the Bible, I want the viewer to feel encouraged and that he or she can endure and overcome.
